The School

Set in beautiful Connemara in the West of Ireland, this all-girls` school is one of the loveliest of its kind.

In the care of the Benedictine Nuns, girls are guided through Secondary Education, taking the syllabus of the lrish Department of Education, and prepared for the Junior Certificate and the Leaving Certificate.

In February 2006 the Benedictine Community announced that they had, regrettably, decided to close the School in August 2010.

The School will close on a phased basis thus enabling the current students to complete the secondary education.

Such visits take place at the short school breaks, i.e. Mid-term end of October and in the second term, mid February.
